Marner to Calgary makes no sense. If they trade for Marner then they're hoping to compete next season. If that's the case how does trading our starting goalie and best d man help with that?

I think CHI might be interested as long as it is after his bonus is paid. There are some that have made the argument that TOR should still pay more, and that is plausible. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

But the Hawks definitely refuse the JT trade as proposed. The two picks coming to Chicago are '24 picks, so JT's bonus has not been paid.

Ah. Nice catch. Didn't even pay attention to the picks. I'm just like a broken record, now, trying to respond to all these poorly thought out proposals. lol
