I think TB would do it ,but wind up regretting it. I think too many Lightning fans here have a bad case of Perbix Derangement Syndrome. He started slow(as did everybody not named Kucherov, & Hedman) but played well from mid December on think learning his 3rd different system in three years had a negative affect.

I would be asking for a first for Hill. Vegas with the cap issues they will be having in the summer will need to dump salary. Thompson is the starter of the future for them. Their defense with Hanifin, Theodore, Pietrangelo, and McNabb gives them literally a D Wall like Detroit had in the 90s.

I can see a team giving up a 1st but, I wouldn't.
It's hard to judge how good he really is playing behind that Vegas team that is stacked with depth the last 2 years.
Antti Niemi looked great in Chicago but was just ok\good in San Jose

Hawks would definitely have interest in adding Holtz. But Bahl doesn't really have a spot. Hawks have their own LD prospects who need ice time. How about the 2nd for Holtz?

Hill is good but 5 mill is an expensive rental.

You could do as good or better simply via UFA and keep the picks
