Description

Well, they've done it again. 8 post season showings and only 1 series win...this team's core is garbage. No heart, no leadership, and ironically Matthews comes back and they loose again.

Let the retool begin and aim for a lottery pick. Tavares gets traded at the TDL. Matthews and Nylander spend their time shopping together and going to the tailor for custom suits because that's more important to them. Nobody wants to sign here because it's toxic

Mrazek couldn't save a beachball for the Leafs in that last year. He was UNPLAYABLE. To say we shouldn't trade him is complete revisionist history.

I am glad he is having success in Chicago now.

I can see a world in which the Leafs and Hawks agree on a Marner trade (presuming he wants to play here), but I don't think this is it.

The leafs will want picks this year or prospects who are close to NHL ready, and the Hawks will only be willing to grab Marner if they view him as a long-term portion of the core.

I think it would look more like C. Dach, Reichel, and the 2024 TBL first for Marner with nothing retained.
