I think a Couturier trade would be tough for any team to figure. He's still a very good two-way C with size and leadership which drives his value up, but he's also a disgruntled, injury riddled expensive long term 30+ contract which would hamper a team's willingness to pay premium assets for him. The Hertl trade is probably the best comparable. The Canucks still probably have OEL PTSD and would only be interested if its dirt cheap or there's retention.
