Fowler has no reason to waive and Anaheim isn't trading Trevor Zegras for one season of this year's most expensive lame duck.

Does Treliving hear Verbeek laughing before being hung up on is the question?

Muskoka isn't all taht special this time of a year. I would have hoped Mitch would have tried to win at least one series, before summering at his Muskoka cottage.

I love Muskoka too Had a cottage there for years. Cottage near Dorset now. But mid April too mid May....wet, cold and sometimes buggy, I try to avoid.
Entitlement in their beers? Beers are for hard working men. More like imported French wine, Irish whisky, Scottish Scotch for Mitch and friend

I always bring back some Muskoka for back West. Beautiful spot but you'd think the guy would at least give a hoot and appreciate his time off.

Marner in the oC makes a lot of sense. You could probably convince Mitch to waive if you give him a quarantine with THE OC and Laguna Beach reruns.

LMAO you cant know that unless this is Verbeek. Is your giant nose typing for you?

The only "big nose" present in this entire thread is in your avatar, so it makes me wonder why you chose this particular epithet to snidely insult my esteemed friend @GeneralLandro.

Only one kind of person uses that phrase as an intentional insult. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

Here's the problem with Marner and his contract. Even if Marner waives there are so few teams that the cap for him. I have gotta believe Marner would only waive to a good team so he can pad his numbers for his next contract. My belief is the Leafs will be better team in 25/26 when Mitch and Tavares are gone. Hopefully a competent Leaf GM can spend their cap better.
With some luck the Leafs will have a few good players on ELC playing above their contracts. Leafs have just Knies on an ELC thanks to the incompetence of Lou and Dubas trading away so many picks/futures for one playoff round win.

I agree let him walk.
The Canucks need to think the same with Boeser. Trade him right meow for whatever you can get otherwise it's a ripple effect.

The worst thing that ever happened to the Leafs was that Tavares contract.

100 point players are better than 60 point players. Here let me check. carry the 1 over the 3, you gotta have 4. Yup. Checks out.

Yes. And just so we're clear, twice as good for one season and zero for six more seasons isn't as good as seven seasons of Zegras. Or, to put it algebraically, if x = 2y, then x < 7y.

Yeah that one year of a player who'll want top 5 salary in the league in a year compared to 2 very good players locked up 2 years additionally one whose contract expires a RFA and a mid round pick to top it off.BRILLIANT.

Ahhh clearly reading comprehension isn't your strong point clearly Marner is the better player ,but also as clearly not the better dollar and term value was my point . I figured anyone with a double digit IQ would have understood that so, I was apparently giving you too much credit my mistake it won't happen again .

THE FUNNIEST PART

Tkachuk was traded for a better player than Zegras (Huberdeau) coming off a 115 point season which is double Zegras career high in points then Mackenzie Weegar who's a better player than Cam Fowler YET Ducks fans think this isnt close. That was a cap move for Florida, the same as this would be for Toronto with Marner.

Fowler has a 4TM trade list and he's from the area, he would definitely waive to go to a good team and none of you know otherwise.

None of you are the GM, its Verbeek and Verbeek signed KIllorn, he loves truculence and it's clear unless you are completely delusional (Ducks fan) that Zegras is on his way out just like every Leafs fan knows that Marner is gone either this offseason or the next offseason.
Verbeek probably would consider that Marner would be a better fit in Anaheim just like Leafs fans love Marner but know he's no longer a fit in Toronto.
