1.
PIT
    Patrick Kane
    DET
      Signed 2x5.5

He would be our Phil Kessel of 2015, a PP weapon and a threat in transition that we’ve dearly lacked
      2.
      PIT
        Anthony Beauvillier
        NSH
Signed 1x1.25M - He’s had a tough season, but overall has a lot of Hagelin to his game. Beauvillier-Pageau-Kane would replicate the HBK line.
          3.
          PIT
            Brandon Montour
            FLA
Signed 7x8 million - it maybe an overpay but seeing how the Graves signing worked out we desperately need a D who can play our system and complement the forwards
              4.
              PIT
              1. Choix de 2e ronde en 2025 (VGK)
              VGK
              1. Smith, Reilly
              2. Choix de 3e ronde en 2026 (SJS)
              Détails additionnels:
3rd goes to SJ for 50% retention
              5.
              PIT
                Jake DeBrusk
                BOS
Signed 2x5M- The guy has a lot of Chris Kunitz to his game. Bunting & Kunitz would replicate the presence of Hornqvist & Kunitz.
                  6.
                  PIT
                  1. Pageau, Jean-Gabriel
                  Détails additionnels:
JG Pageau was the guy PIT should have targeted in 2018 instead of Brassard, he would’ve complemented Kessel better
                  NYI
                  1. Acciari, Noel
                  2. Rakell, Rickard
                  Détails additionnels:
Islanders get a RW who would be suitable for Barzal & Horvat who can play a physical game but also a great puck carrier PLUS a fourth liner which Lou loves
                  7.
                  PIT
                  1. Lafrenière, Alexis
                  Détails additionnels:
Lafreniere projects to be a poor-man’s Guentzel according to Jfresh Hockey. He isn’t quite there yet but with further development on his lateral speed, he will become a beast
                  8.
                  PIT
                  1. Marner, Mitchell
                  Détails additionnels:
Last time a star player on TOR left for PIT in a disgraced manner, we know what happened.

I also think Marner’s characteristics would make him a suitable linemate for Crosby, he is quite similar to Dominik Simon.

Lafreniere-Crosby-Marner would replicate the Guentzel-Crosby-Simon line that was so dominant in 2018/19 (that was Crosby’s best season ever arguably)
                  TOR
                  1. Graves, Ryan
                  2. Jarry, Tristan
                  Détails additionnels:
Treliving would love to have Graves, and Jarry is a starting goalie which TOR have lacked since the Andersen days

They need playoff experience, and they need a long term RW for Panarin & Trocheck honestly with whom I think Rust will be perfect. He has the forechecking of Dryden Hunt but can score consistently too.

Ya bro, trading your 22 year old 57 point former #1 pick for a 32 year old whose career high is 58 points makes perfect sense.

They should trade K’Andre Miller for Letang’s playoff experience too.

Tbh I think Miller has played badly at points this season and NYR could look to upgrade from him, but Letang is a RHD so they need someone to play on the left alongside Trouba.

so lets leave the 3rd pairing ttrash.
Lets push DOC who's starting to break out down to the 4th line for Beauvillier.
And lets sign DeBrusk to 4.75 mil so we can complain about him just like we do with Smith because he's the exact same player.

Why in the world would COL trade for Smith when they have Rantanen, Landy (assuming he is healthy), Nichushkin, Lehkonen, Drouin (who they can just re-sign), Kovalenko, Wood, and LOC

Lol, Boston would have signed Jake a long time ago if he was signing for that.

If he does not sign in Boston he’ll sign in western Canada.

Smith's issue is not his ability, it is his work ethic. The guy quit after November.

DOC is a great player to have in the bottom 6 but is pushing it in a top 6 role. He has good forechecking ability, but his ability on the puck is nowhere near top 6 level yet.

DOC-Eller-Puljujarvi would be awfully similar to Kuhnhackl-Cullen-Fehr in 2016.

Perhaps Boston wanted to wait after the playoffs to see what his value is at. 19 goals in 80 games doesn't exactly scream 5 million salary.

Why in the world would COL trade for Smith when they have Rantanen, Landy (assuming he is healthy), Nichushkin, Lehkonen, Drouin (who they can just re-sign), Kovalenko, Wood, and LOC

Fair, I will ship Smith somewhere else.

DOC is better than a 4th liner and should get more than 4th line minutes.
As far as Smith I don't know, if you believe that you believe that. Could have been nagging injury for all I know..Bbut here is the thing. He's in a contract year next year. He's got ever reason to go hard all year.

If Smith goes hard this year and plays well, that's great. He has a lot of Sheary in his game, but he will need to earn that spot on Sid's wing after being in the doghouse all year.

so lets leave the 3rd pairing ttrash.
Lets push DOC who's starting to break out down to the 4th line for Beauvillier.
And lets sign DeBrusk to 4.75 mil so we can complain about him just like we do with Smith because he's the exact same player.

Wait why do you think the third pairing is trash? You don’t like St Ivany?

Ludvig is the worst defenseman the penguins have had since jack johnson. Ivany is an AHL caliber guy.
The 3rd pairing was eaten alive last year.

he won't ever be on Sid's wing. 3rd or 2nd line.
That depends if they can move him or not. The team has not given up on him as far as putting him out on the ice.

Honestly I didn’t like what I saw from him on the third line, his lack of defensive presence killed the bottom 6.

I feel like he’s the perfect type of winger for Sid, he has to earn it obviously.

But at the start of the season, I’d probably have rolled Guentzel-Crosby-Smith and Rakell-Malkin-Rust.

They will probably play either Bunting there or find a 1LW in FA.
He's probably 3LW next season to start. that's my guess.
It would help if he wasn't on the ice with Carter in the bottom 6. But last year was what it was.

Avs have no space for adding wings and no cap space either even 50% retained. Easy pass.

Damn that’s interesting. Most of the PIT fans on Twitter seem to love both guys, and I thought from the eye test, they did alright. Perhaps the numbers don’t line up?

Ludvig is awful. Ivany and his 44.1 corsi in 5v5 play.... the numbers line up alright, they are AHL level players.

Perhaps Boston wanted to wait after the playoffs to see what his value is at. 19 goals in 80 games doesn't exactly scream 5 million salary.

                  Perhaps not.

Who says it was Boston that was waiting?

Debrusk had the best year of his career. He became a complete player as opposed to a complimentary one dimensional one.
