If you have seen that Lee proposal on here a couple of times then you have also seen it rejected a couple of times by Hawks fans.

Puckpedia’s cap relief calculator estimates the cost to move Lee’s remaining two season cap hit of $7,000,000 at a mid 1st round pick.

So Lee and a 1st round pick to Chicago and FC going back to the Islanders.

The only way the habs wpuld do the pageau trade is if the moveup was from the wpg first to the islanders first (assuming the islanders dont magically make it to the conference finals)

Hawks probably decline. I can see one of those two 2nd's going back to the Isles, but not both. Or just simplify things:

Lee, JGP and the Isles '24 1st to Chicago for F/C.

If the Isles really want Dvorak, I'm sure the Habs are open to a deal.
