It was made pretty clear one of the reasons Ullmark declined the LA trade was because he didn’t want to have to move west for potential only a season and what was left of the 23/24 season and then LA potential not give him a contract and he would have to move again. Ullmark wants a home.

The very last position Anaheims wants is a LHD. The 2nd to last position we would want is a center and Norris making nearly 8 million per. Ottawa fans have told me I believe that they think Boucher is a bust so I’m going with that here as well

This basically is trading 3 players, 2 that won’t waive and 1 I don’t think Verbeek is looking to move for a bust, 2 players that play a position if no need a cap dump and a late 1st.

Don’t think that deal makes sense for either team. Gibby won’t waive nor is he the player he used to be. Fowler won’t waive and same thing, not as good as he was before. Vatrano is a solid add. Chabots a fine player, but Anaheim is set a LD similar to us, so they’d have no interest. Boucher is never healthy, so his value is negligible. Forsberg has no value and Norris value is at an all time low, as well as another position Anaheim is very deep in. I’d be interested in Vatrano if the ducks were looking to move him but doubt they’d be interested in anything in this trade besides the 1st.
