What a mess Dubas has left behind

Description
Where was that $11M Tavares, that we call "captain" here in Toronto, Dubas wasted the cap on? Where was that $10.9M Marner that Dubas wasted the cap on? Why did Dubas give a 7th defensemen in TJ Brodie $5M?

Treliving either forces Tavares and Marner to waive their NMC or he sits them out for a year. You will probably miss the playoffs but it will be worth it

Are leaf fans even still surprised that their three $11million players don’t show up come playoff time? It’s happened like the last 4-5 years now. You could tell they really missed Nylander, he’s by far been their best playoff performer since the 2022 playoffs

Dubas didn't make the decision to play Reaves last night.

I do love how you actually realize how over rated Marner is now though. Everyone else has been saying this for a long time but TOR fans assured us all he was a top 3 RW. He should never have been paid almost 11 mil per. He's never been that kind of player. But for some reason they gave him Pasta money. Jokes on you.

You mean one of the three players that had a point last night. I would be playing Reavo 20 minutes a night over a softie like Mitch

I've always disliked Maner and buddy you're a Pens fan. You do know your GM like his Mitch Marner's and Denis Malgins

Reaves got an assist, would say no Nylander was the Leafs issue last night, their PK wasn't all too effective either.

But then after the Leafs win game 2 Dubas will once again be a genius who put this team together. 🤔

Gotta love the bi-polar Leaf fans. 😬

We lost game 1 the world is ending!

We got the split plan the parade! 😆

Reaves also was the first one exposed last night too, leading to a goal going the other way that TOR couldn't over come once they were down.
But hey he had to be out there because "they need a fighter"......
clowns, so worried about everything but hockey. Whole organization is a failure from the bottom up. Maybe find a good sports psychologist instead of tough guy wingers.
Brilliant decisions like bring in max domi he'll be tough for us....as Marchand goated him all night getting him to commit penalties. Just stupid players, stupid coaches, and stupid front office.
But hey play Reaves 20 minutes a night see how that works out for you.

as for your the typical "DuBaS LoVeS hIs GuYs" leafs comment give it up. You so full of rage because BOS lives in your heads rent free.
You can keep blaming everyone else under the sun, your coach sucks and TOR is really running out of excuses.

Nah this guy is absolutely insane when it comes to dubas. He'll be posting on here for the next 10 years about how awful dubas is. It's weird.

The coach does suck, just completely outclassed every year in the playoffs.

Well a big decision on Marners extension will have to be made. 11.5+ at the minimum or you can sign 2 very good defenseman.

Obviously Taveres deal ends when Marner gets his deal so can do both if you dont mind waiting another year.

Letting him walk will bring a better return (use cap to bring in depth and defense) then to sign a softie who is afraid of his own shadow in the playoffs

I agree though I would've chose Marner over Nylander.
