I think he's implying that Montreal trade for that pick and then use it to get Necas, I've seen a lot of mocks that have Montreal trading for that pick

No from the Blues. Orlov doesn't make sense for us + not enough value coming back if we're not only retaining on Buch, but also Leddy.

Take out Leddy and Orlov and start from there.

Montreal make a trade with SJ for the 2024 1st round pick (PIT), and Montreal make this second trade for Necas who include the pick.

Best comp for Necas is Fiala. So, Pens first and Engstrom is enough. Considering going from 23 to 15 cost 48 and 138, you could change the first to Winnipeg’s and it would still be fair and not confusing for others
