OTT would have zero interest in markstrom, he is too old for OTT, only has maybe 3 years left of being remotely good enough to be considered a #1, he will have low value until his last year of his contract and he becomes a UFA, at that deadline CGY will be able to get a good package for him as a rental.

Andersson is interesting but I’m not sure that Markstrom lines up with the contention window the team is working with.

Also not sure what the motivation would be for Calgary to swap for Chychrun, if anything keeping Andersson would fit better with their trajectory. Or lat least moving him out for younger pieces, not older.

And that offer isn't getting you both Andersson and Markstrom anyways.

Give us the 2024 1st + Pinto and you have a deal. Remove Marky as well, makes no sense for Ottawa.
