Zegras has done nothing to suggest he's impressively valuable. He is however someone a team might want to try and take a chance on. You think Zegras deserves more than that? That was DeBrincat with 27G 66pts. You think Zegras commands more than that? You think he even commands that? He's not even worth what Ottawa got for DeBrincat. DeBrincat also wasn't coming off a serious injury like Zegras is.... That offer for Zegras is not a bad offer at all, I actually think Anheim takes it to be honest. They create almost $6M in cap space for a player that doesn't seem to fit into their system, is coming off a bad injury, and has had an absolutely pathetic season.
