Definitely don't hate the Jarry trade from a Sens perspective - it's actually probably a very good one for us.

The Norris trade is probably stealing for Ottawa - but that would be Pittsburgh really swinging for the fences because if Norris could find his game again, you're getting a 35-goal scorer for free to play on a powerplay that has been awful.

Why in the world would Los Angeles trade an actual NHL player with 188 games under his belt but just coming off his ELC and whom you're signing for only $1.1 million in exchange for a third-round draft pick, not to mention an over-the-horizon one at that? The Kings are under no pressure to create a roster opening.

I'm not sure really - I would be intrigued to know what Ottawa management would think of this.

But I do get why it would be an intriguing move for Pittsburgh.

Calgary doesn't want Graves. Not unless he comes with 50% retention then maybe but even then he's a bit too old and his contract has far too many years left on it to fit the Flames plans.
