No chance Los Angeles trades Phillip Danault or Trevor Moore, let alone both, for that package or anything else within reason. Moore -- Danault -- Arvidsson/Fiala have been our most effective and consistent line since January 1, 2023. That's right, 2023, not 2024. We won't be trading Danault because his acquisition is what Rob Blake points to every time somebody brings up Pierre-Luc DuBois, and we won't be trading our leading goal scorer because, well, he's our leading goal scorer in addition to being a local boy and fan favorite.

I'm amused at the notion that the arguable best defensive defenseman in the league who can skate with and shutdown McDavid on the regular wouldn't make a good D-partner for a young stud offensive defenseman with top pairing potential in Clark.

What am I missing? Because Brodin is EXACTLY the kind of defenseman LA should be pairing Clark with.
