Dubas ain’t getting fired; he has a 7-year deal. Tough to hang this season on him alone - this team was not ready to compete without major surgery which apparently ownership would not allow.

Dubas doesn't have what it takes to fix this team. They need a GM like JR was. Dubas is just a manager.... Hold the reigns and take credit. He can't actually build a team.
Just takes stabs in the dark on big names and hope it works out. Much like signing JT in TOR. He hoped it would carry the team....but it didn't and he never built a real team around the talent he had.
So it's pretty safe bet to say he's the wrong guy for the job here.
