The amount of echo chambering on this site is sometimes hard to believe. So another poster puts up this baseless idea, and now this magically passes basic logic.

I'm not sure I'd trade a 1st for him at all... COL needs to cap space and teams know that. Eventhough he's good you won't get full value for him.

It was more of a question of value. But I think Girard is a fantastic young top 4 dman.

Girard is certainly worth a first plus but I doubt anyone trades a top 10 pick for him. LOC is too valuable for what he delivers to trade just yet. Maybe they move him next year IF they're thinking he's going to price himself out of Denver.

I agree we could possibly Get a first round pick for Girard just definitely not a top ten. It also depends on a team that needs another dman, the devils I don't believe are one of those teams as they already have two dman that are lefties and 1 would for sure play over Girard which is Hughes
