It's hilarious. To buy his argument, trading for Alex Ovechkin (-22) or Steven Stamkos (-24) or Connor Bedard (-36) would only make matters worse.

Ovechkin has always been bad defensively and didn't win a Cup until Trotz made him play defense. Stamkos put up a lot more than 18 goals a season too and played center. But now he's a one dimensional shooter. I could see Tampa not resigning him. Bedard is soft too and is the most overrated player in the league. You don't watch hockey do you.
