Didn’t think the price for Samuelsson would be that high as he is injured again and I saw some Sabres fans before he was hurt willing to give him away for a 2nd…

GMKA sees him as a top 4 dman and locked him up long term. Sabres fans are reactionary, and get mad at a 23 year old kid who was clearly playing through an injury that ended up shutting him down

I would move Samuelsson, just not for this. Maybe if a RD was involved. Someone who can actually clear the Net

But what *some* Sabres fans on here would trade him for isn’t indicative of what we’d do in real life….

Great point. My evaluation of Samuelsson is- big body, not particularly physical, I've heard him called "the cobra" because of his long reach and poke checking, looks to pass on zone exits, average skater so he doesn't carry, more defensively inclined. He was a perfect partner to let dahlin do his thing, but the magic went away. I would prefer...sigh...again...a physical right shot top 4 defensive d, if that's available for Samuelsson (plus depending on value), I'm in. Otherwise, trading him for a second would be a hard no.
