I still haven't heard of an official ending to season 1 yet. I think I would set things up for having a sustainable team anyways. Trying to get more RFA's / long term signed guys than UFA's.

For people interested in a 6th RHD theres an article on csnne about Adam McQuaid. I don't think I'm allowed to post a link to another website but if you go to csnne and click on the Bruins it's probably easily accessible. It's called McQuaid is back and fighting the usual health problems, but shows how important to the roster he is. It's a slide show and speaks pretty highly about him and how he's a guardian of the other players by fighting when someone goes out of their way to stir up the pot. He is available for a late 2nd or early 3rd round pick. I don't mind just keeping him, but if someone is jonesing for a 6th RHD he will be able to be acquired. I'm not going to eat any salary in a trade, but he's basically worth his contract. Maybe he should be 750K less for exact value, but that's probably not going to matter for the majority of teams. If you need a top 6 RHD he's a great cheap option who will log minutes every night as long as he stays healthy. He'll probably miss 10 games in the season, but if you're using him as a 6th or 7th D and have someone else to plug in it would be a great fit.

I know you asked about Zucker/Hertl - the only players that could entice me to move them would be Keller, Strome, or Pulock.

You picked out 3 guys that can become franchise players and you're trading middling 2nd liners who aren't totally established. I can't move my young studs for guys that will just end up in the 45 point range. I'd need something a lot better to move any of those guys, like players with similar upside to them. I don't think Zucker or Hertl will end up as good as any of those players, so theres no reason for me to attempt a trade.
