That doesn't even get you one of them....

When will Leafs fans realize that no one actually WANTS their cap dumps and mid prospects

Parayko is making 6.5 for the next 7 years likely making him a negative asset. Add that to the fact he’s injury prone and has back issues his price wouldn’t be exponentially high

Buchnevich price is rumoured to be 2 firsts, they get a 1st along with Liljergren who’s value is around a 1st along with Robertson as a sweetener

Also, STL could retain on Brodie and receive an asset in return

stl is not even looking to move parayko. leaf fans have this delusion hes available for free. even if he was available why would they move him for free. hes still a 2nd pairing d-man.

only leaf fans think liljegren is worth a 1st. he turns 25 next month and has done nothing to show that. this offer would easily get beaten by other teams who have better younger prospects. buch starting price is 2 firsts. your asking for 50% retention too.

What forum or whatever has made 55 of you post an almost identical trade that makes no sense for the Blues today?

That’s not even close for both of them. Start with Knies + Cowan + more

Well why would you want a guy who makes 6.5M for the next 7 years who is injury prone and has back issues and you consider a negative asset? Considering the contracts the Leafs already have surely it doesn’t make sense to add a guy like that if you think he’s negative value (even though you have him on your first pair)

If Parayko making $6.5 million over the next 6 seasons makes him a negative asset, what does Morgan Reilly making $7.5 million over the same 6 seasons make him?

Over the last 4.75 seasons, Morgan Reilly has played in 306 games. The "injury-prone" Colton Parayko? 317.

Now, I'm not saying that Parayko = Reilly. But take off the homer glasses and try to offer facts in support of your opinions. And the fact is, that a 6-season term is no more likely to make Colton Parayko a negative asset anytime soon than it is to make Morgan Reilly one. In fact, given that Reilly is twice as productive offensively as Parayko, the a priori expectation is that Reilly will fall off more than Parayko -- he's got twice as far to go.

Holy hell, slow down. One advanced delusion at a time. Suffice it to say you have no clue what you're on about. At all.

Just a point of order: Parayko and Rielly had the exact same number of 5v5 points last season. If Parayko had loads of PP time with 54, 16, 88, etc etc, he'd put up just as many points.

I thought it might be something like that, but I was too energized to research it.
