You could offer Charlie Coyle and Brandon Carlo and it still wouldn’t get you Alex Tuch. Some guys you just don’t trade. Sure, Minnesota gave him away, not knowing what they had, and Vegas had to give him up to get Jack Eichel. But Buffalo has no reason to want to trade the guy who should be the next captain.
