Pearson and white are the only pending ufas so nothing is urgent as if either of them move it will be a very minor deal (prpbably a 2:59 teams still looking for bodies kinda thing)

Savard I firmly believe whats been said in the media about the habs setting a price and not movong off it. Hes a franco player who wants to be there so unless they get that 1st package they are happy to keep him.

If they dont move savard then kovacevic could go but theres not much urgency there either.

At the very least I think the habs are done pushing those discussions and if people come to them they will listen

I Hope at least Pearson will get traded for a pick. With 50% retained he could improve one of our pick. And we can pay a late pick for another 50% retained if necessary

Where are you hearing the Habs are done? Everything I see says Habs have many moves available (Anderson, Armia, Savard, Harris, Struble, Pearson) but none that have to be moved, so Hughes will wait for his price to be matched, if it doesn't then the moves will come in the offseason. However they also note that many teams are calling on the above mentioned players (yes even Anderson)
