I tend agree just want to see what the capfriedly GMs think. How badly does Carolina need a goalie and does necas camp want more money than Carolina wants to give. Carolina usually has a hard value on guys and rarely budges on that value

Chatfield and raanta can’t possible be considered “all of this” right. They are expendable pieces

Raanta is expendable, yes. Chatty is a good cheap part of our top notched D. If he isn’t there, we have to change up our pairings because Orlov isn’t the guy to cover TDA. Chatty has bottom tier top 4 metrics right now. He is playing well

2 - who said Debrusk is supposed to be an upgrade for Necas? He’s a replacement for, the upgrade is in goal. Debrusk softens the blow with a a FW that gives somewhat similar production and better defense.

I agree the Canes probably are out of the goalie market with Freddy getting closer. A few weeks ago it might have been different.

Ullmark/Merkulov for Necas/Raanta would have made more sense and more cap neutral.

Kotchetkov???? is playing well for the Canes, gee maybe even better than Ullmark. Especially if Andersson might be returning, no need for Ullmark.
