Is the Reaves deal a joke? He costs 200k to bury. If you were the GM thankfully Brandon Pridham would point that out to you.

The Hawks would definitely consider that.

Leafs would be better off this season getting two NHL Dmen by trading one. But really it's a terrible trade for the Leafs. Not RHD signed for next season. Leafs gotta keep Liljegren
Absolutely crazy to trade Reaves at all....see above for the cap reason.

Please let me answer that one. You'd be fired just for that Reaves trade, which by the way Chicago accepts and and sends you a bottle of Dom Perignon for Christmas!

The actual trade from part 1 of the ACGM is the 1st, Reaves and Samsonov for Soderblom, the LA '24 2nd and the Leafs '26 2nd. Not as one sided as above but Hawks probably still do it

I disagree with my fellow CHI fans. Considering part one of this ACGM, CHI isn't handing TOR $5M in cap relief and a handful of nice assets for a late 1st. I don't care what the relief is if Reaves is sent down through waivers, my answer to that is "then TOR should do it themselves or buy out his contract." But if they want to move him, he is a cap dump, period.

My response was solely based on part two. I didn't even see part one. After reading both of your responses I'm with you about part one.
