The Sabres need a top right defenseman for a first or second pairing. They have a quantity of quality centers on the roster and in the system. The logjam at center will cause someone to be traded.

Agree, mostly. Dahlin plays on the right side, so we are looking for more of a second pair right shot d, a guy to play with power and balance out the stuff he's not good at (yet??). Power needs a defensive d, and a physical one at that to really free him up. Andersson probably works for that, but I don't think I would pay a huge premium for the added offense, which likely would put us out of the running. If mittelstadt gets it without too much added, fine, but it's probably not gonna go, and that's fine.

Dahlin has been playing pretty good since being paired with Joker and moving back to LD, Damn has averaged almost 30min a game since then. I like Andersson but really think it depends on what they think of Joker.

I admit I haven't been paying attention to which side dahlin is on, he's on the ice all the time, and he's all over the place.

Doesn't really matter with Dahlin side wise, just saying you have to make sure it's the Right Dman if you like Joker and use Mitts
