What's the fascination with Bogosian didn't we Leafs fans watch him play during COVID he's horrible. I think the Tanev trade is solid though but you'll probably have to give up one more pick or prospect because the VAN pick is essentially a 3rd rounder.

Bogo would be a solid #8 guy. He did well for the Leafs. We wanted to resign him but he wanted to be in the states so he could see his daughters (understandable). Things have opened back up now. He was far from horrible with the Leafs.

No offence but I think Bogosian wanting to return back to the states was the best possible thing to happen to the Leafs. He provides more offensively but his defence is below average. If you want depth defenseman that you want for cheap with actual good defensive impacts there are players out there like Matt Benning, Troy Stecher, Juuso Valimaki who is an absolute sleeper because he plays in ARZ, he was claimed off waivers so I don’t think his price tag is too high. These players are highly overlooked but they are good and you can get them for not a whole lot because people don’t seem to bat an eye for them.

I’m sure Hawks would be willing to discuss that trade when the Leafs are on the clock draft day. It all depends on who is still on the board that the Hawks might want.
