Take away our 2nd then. Novak and trenin for a 1st. What’s kakko value. Kinda hard to know what his value is. He’s trending down imo

None of the five players in trade #1 is a cap dump (and Los Angeles doesn't have any on the roster), and Los Angeles wouldn't be trading one RhD in a package for another.

They have no reason to move Kakko. He’s their only true RW

Points in 4 straight games and 6 in his last 8 while recovering from serious injury. Him and cuylle have solidified the 3rd line

Rangers aren’t moving a first ton this years draft. The owner wants to make a first round selection at the sphere he spent a billion on

Hopefully La doesn’t trade for a goalie and misses the playoffs. They will be begging for one in the offseason and they will need to overpay

I didn’t know who la would say a cap dump would be so I didn’t put a certain player I just put cap dump. Meaning they can add a cap dump to the trade

Billionaires are very egotistical I’d put good money on the rangers making a first round selection at the sphere. (It might cost you kakko)

I love/hate Josi. But Avs can't afford him and keep any semblance of what they are now.

Do y’all have a dump to be able to get Josi. I would love to see makar and Josi on the top pair together

Fabbro isn't really what I'd be looking for. The Sabres current build on d is pretty soft, rather add to mittelstadt and get a piece that fits the need better. Value is fine, I'd go a different way though.

Fair enough. Fabbro is under appreciated in Nashville and doesn’t get the credit and would like to see what he could do with dahlin. I think that could be a solid top pair

    1. Avs already have the best top pair in the league
    2. Part of Josi's value is on the PP. So he's on the 2nd PP i guess? The Avs aren't going 3F 2D for their 1st PP.
    3. Josi and Cale have redundancies. Toews & Makar complement each other.

This trade sucks. This isn't fantasy hockey

Rangers media already disputed the claim by Dreger lol. He comes up with garbage to try and stay relevant as an “insider”

Lou and Drury are the two GMs who don’t have leaks and run a tight organization

Dahlin is frequently on the right side, his partner could be a lefty. That leaves the Sabres with power who is shockingly soft for a big guy, and Ryan johnson who has arguably been our best defenseman, but isn't really built for the heavy stuff. Both power and Johnson could benefit from a defensive hammer. Again, values fine, I would rather round out the roster though.

    Sabres pass
We’re looking for more of a “shutdown” type guy,
    and that’s not Fabbro

    We also aren’t trading Mitts,
& Fabbro isn’t a good enough main piece to make us change our minds

Fair enough. Just thought with savioe and ostlund coming up the in a year or 2 it would make mitts available. I follow buffalo a lot and man those prospects excite me and they ain’t even my team. If they can solidify the defense and Levi develops the way he should buffalo will be scary.

    I mostly agree
But i think we are more likely to trade Savoie or Ostlund than we are Mitts
We are trying to win sooner than later,
and obviously keeping Mitts & trading a prospect instead for that defensive help makes us better sooner

Also, like i said before, i don’t think Fabbro is the style guy we are looking for
