NSH declines. Korpisalo being included kills any hope of this going through unless you are willing to pay NSH to take on his contract. You've paid a first and Ostapchuck to take on Korpisalo (which is the minimum you will likely be paying anyone), and Ostapchuck is nice depth, but trading a top 5 goalie for a 2nd and 3rd would cost Trotz his job.

Very much doubt the Capitals would move both Sandin and their 2024 pick for Chabot, the pick is likely to be high and Washington has more pressing needs than upgrading the LHD. Would also be very worried by a potential Chabot-Carlson pairing.

The value in the Dickinson trade is good, but can't see the Hawks trading him so soon after signing him to an extension.

I think the Hawks would be willing to trade him for the right offer. This offer isn't it, though. That would've been about what he would've cost as a rental. Now he has term. I think CHI will just wait until next deadline or the one after, to move him, or maybe they won't move him at all. Maybe he becomes enough of a roster staple to earn another extension and stick around for some contending years.
