That would be interesting but UPL would probably not be the 1st asset moved unless Buffalo had a deal in place for another goalie to replace UPL. I don't know who NJ would have to offer though

He’s a young goalie & they develop at different rates,

He was okay for like 3 games before being sent down. The 10 games before that he had like a 800 sv% and was allowing 60ft slap shot goals to zack mackewan. All young goalies are 2 years away from being 2 years away. UPL's career trajectory is all kinds of up and down, and he's a massive goalie and high pick. Planning anything around Levi for the next few years would be crazy.
