I think if the Ducks trade Zegras, its more like the Gauthier trade than a bunch of stuff, they don't need to add to their collection of middle of the lineup players. I think Reinbacher would need to be in the deal. If Zegras was going to get traded for picks and prospects, it would be done by now.

Because you are asking for a top line player, but offering a grab bag of middle 6 pieces.

If you want Zegras, it'll take MTLs 24 1st (top 5) + Beck level prospect, Reinbacher + MTLs 25 2nd, or Slafkovsky straight up.

No collection of spare parts is going to get the deal done, Anaheim has an equivalently strong prospect pool to Montreal in that regard (arguably superior) so we're not looking to add more of that.
