I think the value is way off in CBJ's favor in the Jenner deal. I get that Rakell is having a down season offensively, but I have a hard time believing his value craters that badly because of it.
As much as I would like the cap space that moving Carter gets us, I don't think he waives his NMC for anyone, let alone that Sharks team.
Yager can't be called up this season, and I don't think he'll be NHL ready until '25-'26 at the earliest.

I do think the Toronto trade is worth considering if they're willing to part with Domi.

Jackets are not trading jenner for anything short of a kings ransom. Between portzlines reporting and friedge stating nearly the same, it doesn’t sound like he’s on the table.

Jenner has never scored more than 45 p in a season. Jenner gets 1C minutes and 1C situational play but hes really a very good 3c maybe a fringe 2c being generous...

How about this: 2 2nds, a 3rd, a 35-year-old, and a bad contract don't land even a 3C at $3.75M with term, even if that's all Jenner was.
