Hate the TK trade for the flyers.
Laughton Trade is Meh, would rather a pick for him.
Rather keep Sanhiem if thats the return.
If thats the cost for Zegras they can keep him.

yeah this is a different direction than I think what some people want. I want to make the team younger and also ready for when michkov comes. TK/sanheim will not be a big contributor for much of michkov's career.

The Jets aren't going to help Philly out by paying to take a bad player with a bad contract.

Sure that trade doesn't change much for the flyers they can manage to eat the contract if they need to but he's played quite well as a stay at home defensemen

Ill admit I have no idea how to trade coots but I think its important the flyers try. I wanted to get a win-now team some talent while not killing their cap. TK trade seems fine to me. Zegras seems fine to me. Sanheim may or may not be dealable, but a second is nothing crazy for return

Lol walker for a 2026 first is cheap but I get if lightning wont spend their pick on that. Sanheim has 7 years left he might not be dealable at all but if we get more Id love it.

Term on Sanheim is a feature not a detriment. How you could possibly value a flash in the pan like Walker over a stud like Sanheim is crazy.

Hey man I did one of these before with sanheim to detroit for 2 seconds and some people said they wouldn't take it. Again the idea is getting off sanheims long term deal when we arent competing now. If we get more I would love it. Walker is a typical expiring deadline deal for a late first

Honestly, it's hard to look at values when many of these would put the other team over the cap. I'd also say you're overvaluing Zegras.

Bolts fans don’t want to sell their last 1st for a rental.

If all you want is a 2nd for Sanheim, in the real world every team in the league would beat that deal. Heck Oilers don’t even need a LD but at that price we’d find a way to make it work.

Yeah I am quite desperate to get a young first line player and also I tried with the cap but I doubt I got it right or close to it

I'd do the Risto deal. The rest don't make sense IMO. The Laughton one is close, I think there would either be more or a better draft pick coming to Philly. The Walker one is close but I doubt Philly takes a 1st 2 years from now for Walker.

Minnesota isn't buying this year. If we weren't giving up a 1st in a year we were actually good, why would we do it when we're currently set up to get a top 10 pick? Also, we have $11 million in cap space next year with 16 forwards signed. This trade would knock us down to a little over $7 million with ~6 players to sign which is an absolute no go.

Yeah makes sense doesn't matter atp bc Coots was named captain. He'll probably play out his contract in Philly
