I always fail to see the logic in these type of trades. Wouldn't the Leafs be so much better having 6m in cap next season, Niemela, the first instead of one year of Pettersson and two years of Accarili.
It's not like the exchange of players. Petterson, Accarili, Sunderstrom, Schenn over Brodie, Timmins and Domi are going to change the Leafs fortunes this season.

well you don't have to worry because if he was on the market he'd get much better offers than that.
