Description

I would really dislike this option. Remove Minten and I would be a lot happier but I don't see Philyl doing it otherwise. Time will tell how things play out.

I would love to get Laughton at 50% retention. Risto not so much, even though his contract looks good at this number.

I still think Lily for Tanev makes sense for both teams (only if the Leafs can come to a lower cap, 2 year extension but this is not part of the trade proposal here).

Leafs pass on flames zero chance they trade lily for tanev he will be better then tanev next year makes zero sense, and leafs pass on Philly zero interest in risto at full cap hit or any cap hit for that matter

Leafs don't do any of these trades. Risto is playing well under Torts. On the Leafs, under Keefe, he will get exposed. And I think another team will beat that Tanev offer.

I don't see a scenario where the Flames move Tanev for Liljegren. Liljegren's value is in Toronto, not in a trade, he doesn't look like a piece for the future to a team acquiring him right now and is scrapping for bottom pairing minutes on a team that's trying desperately to improve their D Core.

There was a time last off-season Gregor was looking like an interesting option but I don’t see Edmonton having a roster spot to spare on him anymore.

Zero chance that Philly retains on Laughton. If they retain on Risto and Laughts then they will have all 3 retention slots full for the next 2 seasons.

Too much amount of monetary retention for Philadelphia for too high of length in term. Risto has 4 years remaining, Laughton has 3 years remaining. No team retains salary for that length of time. It is absurd. Grade: F.

Teams do retain for this long (But rarely). Philly has been rumored to be willing to retain on guys (including Risto). Doesn't mean they will do 50% cap retention though. It would help them get a lot of assets though.

This AGM here is highly unlikely though.
