I think Blomqvist is 100% our next #1. He's been fantastic. With Ned expiring next year, he will most likely get the backup role for a year or two to see how he performs. By that point Jarry will probably have to be moved, or they'll keep the tandom and rotate them.

It is really hard to say. Jarry has been playing good, nedeljkovic is playing way better than anyone expected and Blomqvist has looked like a future superstar so I would say they run with jarry and Ned for most of next while also getting Blomqvist to play a few games then run with jarry and Blomqvist, then after 1 or 2 seasons with Blomqvist backing up he probably becomes the starter and jarry is moved for a prospect and a couple picks

I think they will run tandem. My guess is next season will be he first shot at backup, but I'm sure he'll still need a couple of years before he's ready to take the healm, so it will probably the kind of situation in three years where the Pens could look to trade Jarry if Blomqvist is ready.

I don't think they'll be able to afford Ned next year. He's definitely playing himself into a high paid back-up job unless some team believes he's ready to be a starter. I think Blomqvist will be the backup next year.

That’s very possible too. They should try to get him to play a couple of games this year so he is a bit more prepared for next season just in case

Unless a bunch of injuries happen, I think Helberg is still the next guy up, but it wouldn't be bad to see him get one or two games. I could also see them signing another back-up next year for a similar price to Ned and letting Blomqvist share the back-up position.

He's only 19. He's a loooong way from the NHL. Definitely a promising prospect.

Pens will probably trade Jarry near the end of his deal as part of a rebuild and Blom will be waiting to take over. Could be a tandem with Jarry as early as next year.

Next year I think you see Jarry and Blom in tandem and Murashov possibly coming over to the AHL.
My guess is Blom and Jarry run tandem for 2 years and then Jarry is moved out.
Then again it depends on how the penguins play and what the return on Jarry is.
If they are clearly not a playoff team and the return is high, you could see Jarry moved after next season.
As long as Jarry keeps his play as high as it is now, there might be someone willing to spend big on him. A team like EDM could really use a goalie.
