The only team that benefits from any of these trades is the Penguins. OP seems to want stuff for scraps.

What's left of Carter doesn't waive him NMC to go to a team not making the playoffs.

As not great as EJ has been in Buffalo, they're not essentially paying you to take him and retaining salary.

You'd have to pay a 3rd just for Ottawa to take on Carter's contract, so that leaves a 2nd and a 7th for Tarasenko which is awful for Ottawa.

Sabres would just keep Johnson instead of retaining for a 7th. My guess is they could get a third for him if they retain half. Experienced RHD are at a premium at the moment.

That's about the value I've been seeing going around for him. However, that's for any team other than Pittsburgh and it would have to be this year's 3rd, not a future 3rd. Any trade that helps the Pens this year hurts the Sharks since they own the Pens' 1st round pick.
