Jensen 1 million retained for a 2nd or a 3rd. Although now I'm having second thoughts because Jensen seems to be having a horrendous season.

I think Edmonton has to be more of a money in money out trade as they don't have much room to just send draft picks? Same for Isles.

Idk about horrendous. But he was def better last year.

Could have gotten a couple 2nds or a 1st for him at the deadline

-Canes pass on this one. LIndgren put up a .931 SV% with 2 shutouts and a 2.34 GAA in his first 10 starts; since then he's had 10 starts + 1 relief appearance with an .899 SV% and 2.82 GAA. He seems to be settling in as good enough to be the short side of a tandem but not a full-time starter, and I don't think that's worth a 2nd rounder.

-Guys like NAK and Dowd don't go for 2nd rounders at the deadline - they're fine for what they do but they're role players, and if this is your ask, the Oilers will easily go find a Tyler Motte or Vlad Namestinkov to do basically the same thing for them at a much lower price.

-I personally wouldn't be targeting Edmundson if I were the Isles but if Adam Pelech is out long-term I wouldn't hate a move at this level to add some better depth at the NHL level. Value is fair, fit is iffy at this time.

-Leafs are pretty much dollar in/dollar out at this time, I don't see how they could fit Mantha under the cap even if they roped a third team in to double retain him down.

-Jensen has fallen off this year, is already 33, and has 2x$4.05M left. I can't see any team really jumping at the opportunity to add him until he starts to look like himself again.

-Habs are overflowing with young Dmen that need a lineup spot - can't see them paying any asset to acquire another body to throw on that pile.

-I think this is fair value for Milano but again, not sure if the Senators really have the cap space or the need for another middle-6 winger right now.

Brannstrom is a good target (Ottawa has way too many LHDs) but he's very similar to Sandin so not sure he's a fit for WSH

Id be shocked if Dowd doesnt get more than a 2nd. Hes one of the best defensive players in the NHL and is deployed in the D zone a lot. Teams are already rumored to be asking about him
