Raddysh won't be a suitable fit for the Canucks, and Kuzmenko won't be a good fit for the Blackhawks.
Blackhawks already have enough younger players and they don't need another one.

A trade like that makes a lot of sense. There really is no reason for CHI to be acquiring players right now. So, if VAN needs the cap space bad enough and can't move him otherwise, this is the kind of move they are gonna have to make. I think getting back the 3rd and Raddysh helps ease the pain too, but isn't something that anyone can get too upset about. Small price to pay for $6M in cap space.

If Kuz goes, they have the cap space. This is 25 players who could play a role in playoffs. Cap compliant otherwise. I suppose if Ottawa wanted to retain for a bigger return elsewhere, then Van would have to add if they really wanted him.
