See the problem is that you guys hate, (loathe, maybe that's a better word) players who can play defensively, you want games that have basketball scores in hockey so how can you be trusted. I don't know his game but what the Leafs need is a big body, can land hits, especially if those hits make a difference (which considering his stats he can do) can puck retrieve (no idea, again, don't know his game) and can make passes that result in the puck being moved up ice. In other words the Leafs need defensive D.
Basically, they need two Justin Holl type players (hopefully that are better than him, i mean they let him walk they might as well upgrade) preferably right handed, but at least can play the right side. They also need those players to do the things that Holl didn't do particularly well which is where the upgrade part comes in.
He's got the right idea with the kind of player Peeke is. Is he the right player? Not sure, i don't watch the jackets.
See the problem is Peeke is not good at hockey at all.
Most hockey fans can clearly see this.
Even Blue Jackets fans.
The Leafs need 2 Justin Holl's? 🙄
No they don't.
They need 2 capable defensemen who can take the pressure off Rielly and McCabe.
What you just said makes absolutely no sense at all.
You more than once have said you "don't know his game."
Then why are you talking out of your arse? 🙄
Peeke has played in 17 games this season.
Healthy scratched 29 times.
Nuff said. 🙄
