At this point rangers should be conservatively selling if they continue to decline or buy cheap depth if they make playoffs. Right now their future is without Chytil as 3C which they’ll need to address

Seems like the entire metro (except Carolina) wants to potentially sell. I’ve seen selling posts from NYI, NJD, Washington, Pitt, Philly and ofc CBJ selling. Now you say NYR might sell.

Well I don’t think anyone in the metro should make a big splash, maybe the Canes because of how well their system is. But other than that, playoff teams should just scoop up cheap depth and hope the puck bounces your way in the playoffs. Total crapshoot

The rangers and islanders are never far away from a Sorokin or Igor complete takeover carry job. It’s happened before.
