But yea the difference in Ferraro and Byram is not a lot, both young both have similar cap hit. But Ferraro has less offensive assets but is better defensively and more of a leader.
Giving up a 1st and taking on a cap dump to make the switch just seems dumb.

Even as a Ducks fan I don’t think Henrique fetches a 1st even with full retention. Something like a 2nd and meh prospect with full retention. Maybe if we take on Johansen though and play with the value a bit. Feels like Henrique would be a good fit in COL

But it's overpayment for a rental. If he had some term I would say go for it. But age is a factor to.

I would accept that offer as the Anaheim GM but you forgot your 50% retention.

However, I agree with my esteemed friend @jded that I don't think anyone but the most desperate team would pay us a first for Adam (even with the retention and the third), and I don't think that Colorado is that desperate. But one can hope.
