Description

Unlike last year’s TDL, Army won’t receive much for his pending UFA’s this time around. Out of the forwards, Kapanen and Sunny could fetch the best return. I can also see Army deciding to keep them post deadline or resigning them in the summer. As for the defense, Scandella could possibly fetch a lower pick from a playoff team. Any larger moves will happen in the offseason. The best acquisition Army receives will be Jimmy Snuggerud signing his ELC, finishing the season with the big club. Play the kids, get the best 1st round pick possible, and clean up the mess in the summer when the cap rises.

Canucks have no interest in Kapanen, they have better forwards waiting in the wings in Abbotsford.

Could see Sundqvist as a good add for the Jets, I really wanted them to acquire him last season and extend him like they did Namestnikov and Nino.

If the Blues were to retain on Vrana I think he'd be a good add for Tampa with Blais, they need to improve their depth and Vrana might be able to find his scoring touch with Tampa's top six guys.

Tough part with Vrana is can a team stomach his mistakes. Unfortunately most winning teams can’t.

When he’s scoring he’s a pretty high end producer. But when he’s not, he doesn’t check, and makes some lazy mistakes. Odd player for sure
