POJ is almost 25 now with some injury concerns and limited NHL establishment. I don't see the sharks adding for him on top of retaining for Duclair.

poj is a very good player. he can't be in pit line up because he is an offensive Dman and we already have EK and KL. but he'd instantly play in a top 4 role imo with the sharks.

plus he still has room for improvement in his game just because of consistency of play.

and also don't add the 5th if you think it's too much, if Dubas wants AD he'll just make it happen.
considering he fleeced the sharks once don't find it hard to believe he can do it again.

you are probably right, however this could make us a contender considering the difference between JC and graves and also the impact VT can have sniping on the pp, and if we adjust the PP we become a very dangerous team.

I agree, I do like the idea. Im just not sure if the team really considers moving another first and pickering. Im not sure how they really value Pickering, but I know start of the season Dubas said he doesnt want to move top prospects considering we have so few. Sully did want JC the first time around so never know

Id imagine the SMith and a third gets beat but I would do that for vlad. I think they are asking a late first in value

The idea is that the Sharks are likely gonna want picks and/or young prospects for Duclair. POJ will be at least 27-28 by the time the Sharks are trying to not suck. Just doesn't make a ton of sense. That 2024 2nd, on the other hand, does.

Also nothing against POJ but a ham sandwich would instantly play a top 4 role on SJ's blue line lol.

And make no mistake - in reality Mike Grier will probably trade duclair for a bag of pucks. On capfriendly we (foolishly) like to pretend like Sharks management isn't fresh out of the psych ward.

exactly my thought process lol I'll be very surprised if you get anything better than a 3rd. and trust me poj is better than a 2024 third rounder in the eyes of a gm
