No thank you from montreal

Then we’ll keep Holtz.

Holtz has 19 points (10 goals) 5v5 in 400 minutes

The habs leading 5v5 scorer is Suzuki with

14 points in 660 minutes.

Not a single hab has more than 6 5v5 goals

Holtz has 19 points 5v5 and 10 goals
Suzuki and Caufield have combined for 26 points and 10 goals 5v5

And the Habs are the ones looking to score anything 5v5

Holtz would rank 3rd on your team in xGoals%, 1st in 5v5 goals (as many as Caufield and Suzuki combined), 1st in 5v5 points

In fact holtz scores more goals/60 5v5 than Caufield, Suzuki, and Monahan. Combined

Fowler is Rare
While i like a lot of Goalies to Varying degrees
Fowler stands out to me for the same reasons Price did.

I not saying i didnt like many Goalies in between
Whether is Abesicher in Montoya or Hacket in Niemi or any amount of random goalies in correlation
The timeline for the Undisputed starter over 4 decades almost was groomed and developed in MTL after their Junior or NCAA stints
I think Fowler is Special and will be closer to a Lundqvist then Price
He seems like someone who will develop the leagues best back up goalies for decade+
While Price was more of a 1 man show with rotating cast that didnt define his play at all.

So Pumped for this kid though
In a Perfect World MTL makes Price a Goalie Coach like his dad was , after his contracts up.
It would maximize the Potential of him and wanna be pop star Miller (who feels like Bernier 2.0)

I don’t know anything about Miller? Pop star?

We have Broduer in NJ now (as assistant GM) and so many people think he could help our goaltending…but sometimes the best goalies can’t teach what they have (or had). He screens them in draft process, and helps where he can, but is also honest about not being the best instructor. Goalies are a unique group.

Yes, the habs do have a hard time scoring and that's why they traded for newhook and dach who are both injured

Newhook has 9 points in 300 minutes 5v5
Holtz has 19 in 400
Dach last year had 18 in 800 minutes

None of them can score at the level Holtz does.

Yeah he just dropped an Album as he's trying to use his off time to focus on creating his Art like Patrick Roy's son did before launching his Music Career.

I agree , but is Brodeur a 2nd Generation Goalie coach who already proved he can do it Prepping Montembault for his Gold win in the World Cup last year.
Price i've got complete confidence in, he has the job when he's ready but he's still working on his body not necisarily to return to the NHL
But so he can move around on on ice and in life comfortably again so i'd say maybe start of next season if not after that.
I have heard he's being considered for Team Canada's World Cup again this year in more of a bigger role not just Montembaults development coach basically.

If all goes right when he's done he signs with MTL as Staff.
If not he'll likely get tapped by Seattle given his Wife and his foundation there.
Carey is like their system in Seattles biggest success story so having him return maybe to Junior where it started is more appropriate.
That said Burrows started out Pro , who cant Price?
