Vancouver needs a 2C, Mittelstadt is a center on pace for a 66 point season, is an RFA so still under team control when his current deal expires so not a UFA or rental.

The only thing of value in this proposal is the 1st which looks like it'll be 25th overall or later, Mynio and that pick add almost no value so the fit is there for the Nucks and the price tag is very reasonable, Buffalo likely declines anyway without more coming there way.

I have some family on the left coast, apparently Blueger is centering a very effective 3rd line for the Nucks, the Lotto line has been reunited but that means P.Suter as the Nucks 2C which isn't good enough, Suter is doing an admirable job but isn't a long term solution, the Nucks could absolutely use Mitts or some other 2C upgrade, some people on here are just stubborn or just want to say no to everything... 😅

I don’t think of him as a defensive center but he’s a better two-way player than most of our team currently. That said, I feel like almost none of our forwards know what backchecking actually is. Looking at the Jets roster it’s tough they don’t really have the piece buffalo would want in return. They could make a trade using several pieces that buffalo could turn around and use to get what they’re looking for. It wouldn’t be a cheap trade.

I would look at two of the following being the price: Lucius, Perfetti, Heinola, 2024 1st. And to be honest if the offer were the 2024 1st and Heinola that wouldn’t really make me happy.
