Dach and Newhook had in common that they were traded away between the end of season and draft, by teams who didn't want to give them pay increases, but prefered futures and the capspace (for contending or tanking).
You can eliminate every players signed for the 2024-2025 season. (Holt, Bourque, Neighbors). No incentive to trade away players near minimum salary.
You can eliminate LA, Columbus and Buffalo, since they have capspace and want to get results short term.
We are left with Wahlstrom (meh), Holloway and Kakko. IMO only Edmonton could be tempted to move in season to get capspace at TDL, but if not the Campbell buyout would give them capspace during the off season.
Only NYR could get tempted to move on from Kakko before the Draft, like the Avs with Newhook.
Another young buy low/big potential target IMO could be Texier. But Columbus would want an NHL ready player (Harris?).
