IMO, just ride it out and hope to make the playoffs. Gee this year, just get in and maybe you can go far when healthy. Don't think any "help" in a trade is gonna to make much difference .

Thinking so many problems can be fixed with trades to save a bad luck season is short-sighted. It would just shorten the window long term when we don't have such rotten injury luck.

Just see what the AHLers like Hatakka can do. Rather see him than some toss away from a non-playoff team as a rental. The guys that can "save" a season are not worth it for term as we should focus on being cap smart for when Luke and Nemec are up in two years.

Wait until after the All Star game to see how healthy the team is and where they are in the standings. If at that point they think it's worth adding, go for it. But for the next 25-30 days - do nothing unless something tasty comes onto your plate.

IMO , most of these TDL are bad value for the "buyers". Rarely do they advance the buyers further in the playoffs.

Get healthy.
Look for some cheap pick-ups to fill holes.
Find another Siegenthaler type deal if we can find one.
If trouble arises, send Gobstopper after them.
Stay the course.

I’d grab a goalie for a 3rd/4th tho. Even a mediocre goalie could save the season
