You‘re talking about a combo that has gotten better as this season has gone on and they are both 25 or under. I would venture Mukhamadulin, Thrun, Embersom, and Ferraro are, while not off limits, they are very close to it. It would take more than you could stomach to pry them away, and your castoffs don’t push the needle! Grier is looking for big strong fast players to build this team with, not fragile small players.

No. Kahkonen isn't a starter. Carolina are only in the market for a bona fide starter. Plus, with this logic, why would the Canes not just wait for Freddie? The team doctors cleared him medically weeks ago...
