I really don't think the Avs move Ritchie for a guy they won't be able to re-sign. Change him to Behrens and I think that's around the best offer from Colorado.

Conditional draft picks based on re-signing are no longer allowed.

Under no circumstances would the Kings give up two first round draft picks for a rental defenseman, even if one is conditional.

Behrens isn't that enticing of a piece for me.

I think that easily gets beat. Boston might offer lohrei for example and I would take him over Behrens in a second.

Take the 2nd out of the Dallas trade and swap Dadonov for Hakanpaa and that's about what I'd expect Calgary to ask for in return for Tanev.

I would guess a first, a good prospect, and maybe a 3rd. I don't know what the market will be like though, and it may depend on any extension talks acquiring teams have with him.

I don't see any way the Avs keep him, which makes it an unlikely proposition he ends up in Colorado. That's just my opinion though. Maybe I'm missing something.
