Gosh that contract is tough for the Rangers. If he was willing to waive his NTC I’m sure there are more cap flexible teams that would be lining up to take this deal. I feel like the Sens avoid it even if he was willing to waive for Ottawa solely based on the remaining term. The Sens need the cap flexibility to re-structure their D core.
